About The Event
There willl be two 'Guided Walks: History, Art and The Mayflower', one beginning at 19:00 and another at 19:30.
Join us on this FREE blue badge guided walking tour of Mayflower in Rotherhithe, provided by Heritage and Arts, the officially appointed Mayflower 400 guides for Southwark. This walk takes us to a pub where Master Jones is said to have hired his crew, another from where the settlers boarded the Mayflower, and even the burial grounds of Master Christopher Jones. There is a church and school from the days of the Pilgrims and memorials built to commemorate those brave souls of the past. Hear the Mayflower story as researched and approved by local historians and Mayflower specialists and walk in the shadows of the Mayflower crew.
